- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tsp Cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Bring all ingredients to room temperature.
- Mix the base: In a large bowl, whisk together skyr, eggs, and honey until smooth.
- Add the oats: Stir in the oats and let the mixture sit for 2 minutes.
- Incorporate spices: Gently fold in baking powder, salt, and optional cinnamon.
- Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it.
- Portion the batter: Pour about half a cup of batter into the waffle iron and close it.
- Bake the waffles for 4-5 minutes until steam dissipates and they are golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack to maintain crispiness while baking the remaining waffles.
Notes
