- 500 g Chicken Breast, boneless and skinless
- 300 g Fresh Mushrooms, cremini or button
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 200 ml Heavy Cream
- 100 ml Chicken Broth
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Paprika
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Begin by cutting the chicken breast into even-sized cubes.
- Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth and slice them into thin rounds.
- Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the chicken cubes to the skillet, searing them for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Toss in the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they soften, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan.
- Reduce the heat and add the heavy cream, stirring until combined.
- Add the chicken back into the sauce, and let it simmer for a few more minutes.
- Season generously with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
Prep the ingredients a day ahead for a quicker cook time. Pair with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
