Description

Ingredients

  • 200g Shredded Coconut
  • 200g Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 200g All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Packet of Baking Powder
  • 200ml Coconut Milk
  • 50g Butter
  • A Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare your baking pan by greasing it well.
  2. Whisk the eggs and sugar in a large mixing bowl until pale and frothy.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and coconut milk, mixing until well combined.
  4. Sift together the flour, shredded coconut, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown and a skewer comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool fully in the pan before removing.
