Description

Delightful muffins infused with the vibrant flavor of Fanta, offering a unique twist to traditional baking.


Ingredients

  • 250 ml Fanta
  • 100 ml sunflower oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: chocolate chunks or colorful sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a muffin tin by greasing it or lining it with paper cups.
  2. Combine 250 ml of Fanta, 100 ml of sunflower oil, and 2 eggs in a large bowl. Whisk until well combined and frothy.
  3. Add the dry ingredients: 300 g of flour, 150 g of sugar, 1 packet of baking powder, and a pinch of salt into the wet mixture. Stir until it forms a smooth batter; a few small lumps are okay!
  4. Fold in chocolate pieces or colorful sprinkles if desired.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the muffins to cool slightly in the tin before transferring them to a wire rack. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!

Notes

Make-ahead tips: The batter can be prepared the night before and refrigerated. Bring to room temperature before baking. Customize with flavors like orange zest or vanilla.
