Description

A hearty and comforting stew made with ground meat, potatoes, and fresh vegetables that brings warmth and nourishment to the table.


Ingredients

  • 500g Ground Meat (Beef or Mixed)
  • 800g Waxy Potatoes
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Bell Pepper
  • 500ml Vegetable Broth
  • 34 tbsp Oil (Canola or Olive Oil)
  • Salt, Pepper, and Cumin

Instructions

  1. Start by peeling the onions and carrots, dicing them finely. Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and chop it into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground meat, cooking it until it’s browned and loses all traces of pink.
  3. Toss in the onions, carrots, and bell pepper, stirring briefly to incorporate.
  4. Peel the potatoes and cut them into even-sized cubes. Add the potatoes to the pot.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth, allowing it to come to a gentle boil. Season with salt, pepper, and cumin.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Let it simmer for 30-40 minutes until the potatoes soften beautifully.
  7. Serve hot, inviting everyone to enjoy the comforting flavors.
