Description

A delicious and creamy avocado sandwich grilled to perfection with crispy bacon and melted cheese, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread (e.g., sourdough or ciabatta)
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • 2 slices of cheese (e.g., cheddar or gouda)
  • Butter for spreading
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Cook the bacon until crispy and drain on paper towels.
  3. Mash the avocado with salt and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  5. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the pan.
  6. Add cheese, mashed avocado, and bacon on top.
  7. Top with the other slice of bread, buttered side up.
  8. Grill for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, flip, and cook until the other side is brown and the cheese melts.
  9. Cut diagonally and serve warm.

Notes

You can prepare the avocado mix a day in advance and store it in an airtight container in the fridge. For a healthier option, try using an air fryer.
