- 85 g cream cheese
- 19 g sugar (for filling)
- High-quality caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180 °C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat the butter and light brown sugar in a large bowl until creamy and light.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and sea salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and stir until a smooth dough forms.
- Combine the cream cheese and sugar in a small bowl until creamy.
- Use an ice cream scoop to portion dough onto the baking sheet. Make a small well in the center of each portion and fill with the cream cheese mixture.
- Bake the cookies for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired for extra flavor.
